Sedef is from Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended Oral Roberts University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She went on to get her Masters degree in Community Counseling at Oklahoma State University. Sedef is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is passionate about helping others highlight their strengths. She responds with empathy through actively listening to help individuals feel heard, encouraged and seen.
Sedef is experienced with helping people of all ages, ranging from age 4 to 70 plus. She has experience running a women's recovery group through a family drug court program and is passionate about helping families reconcile after trauma and separation. Sedef's most recent work was specifically focused on children and their families in a school setting to help overcome various obstacles including anxiety, depression, building self-confidence, and healing from trauma. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and uses an integrative wellness approach to helping others with their unique needs and challenges. She believes in the power of being free from strongholds and is eager to help others discover that kind of freedom to help others walk through life confidently.
